7: well you knw how i feel abt the flag thingy on the trumpet.. and i jus had the thought that the quill in the vector icon shud be more fluffy or extravagant. =P

Specifically first one, cause it is something more to a document sheet rather than contact. And Maybe need more simplification.

the 1st icon doesnt much relate to contacts, other icons are ok, didnt have much difficulty in understanding them.
the colours & the design more simple wud have been just Great.

7:yes.. for the icon related for contacts, i don't think there is a
need for the ink bottle to be there and you can use a much better
looking quill in it..and as for the castle icon, i think it is too
solid and simple..not very eye catching..and about the third icon the
sign on the flag is not very appropriate to resemble gallery or music
and i think you can change the shape of the flag to make it look
better.

for pixels:
parchment: somewhat resembles a sack. maybe you can add lines to show writing like in your vector
castle: the tips could be sharper?
trumpet: the head part looks like it expanded. try to make it look like a curve like the vector. (maybe u need to enlarge the mouth first for the curve to look obvious enough)
